The Rules:
1) I must nominate three other Creative blogs for this award.
2) Put a link on my blog to them.
3) Leave a message on their blogs, to let them know they have been given the
Kreativ Blogger award.
Mmmmmm decisions decisions there are just so many beautiful blogs, here goes,
The first has to be http://mrsjscreations.blogspot.com/, If you are into card making and scrap booking you must pay a visit to Mrs J blog, she makes the most beautiful amazing cards for all occasions! Fabulous!
The second, 'mmm', well it's got to be http://countryinthetown.blogspot.com/, because shabby chick has the most wonderful blog filled with home creations and family life. I do enjoy visiting her blog.
And third, 'oooo', I can't decide! Maggie over at http://todreamtostitch.blogspot.com/ a fellow textile artist who's blog I love to visit because its always filled with wonderful creative pieces. And I admire anyone who can be so creative with photoshop. Tee hee.
That was soooooo difficult. I could go on forever nominating fabulous blogs but I must only stick to three. Shame!!!
Now I thought I would share with you my next Uni' project, it's going to be a selection of weaves based on our local river/estuary and the buildings an features that surround it. I have grown up along side this estuary and always thought it to be a little dirty and dull. But I recognise it is a functioning estuary, a working river importing and exporting. And my whole family have been involved with it at some point over time. I'm going to try and make something beautiful from it. Believe it or not I do have a special attachment to it. I must say I always know I'm home when I see it in view.
My new colour scheme for my weave project will be taken from the colours on the image above. What do you think? Wasn't sure whether to add a green. I will do some yarn winds to check out my colour combinations further. And I should have some creative pieces to show over the next few weeks, so I hope you will visit to check them out and leave a comment or two.
Can I just send a message to all those effected by the terrible, horrendous, Australian bush fires, mine and Mr S's thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Big Hugs
Take Care

Thank you soooo much for the award, you're a sweetie! I was really surprised to read my name there! I must check out the other two as well :)
I think your colour scheme and the reasons behind it are lovely. Really subtle and harmonious. I love aquariums and that one looks intriguing!

I would definitely add the green. Wonderful building.
Isn't it just awful - the fires. So very very sad.
That's an amazing building. I have been intending to visit The Deep for ages.
I echo your thoughts for everyone affected by the fires in Victoria.
Your Uni project sounds fascinating - can't wait to see what you create!
The structure of the aquarium is amazing; I can’t wait to see you work!

Lesley, thanks so much for the award. Sorry to be so late in responding, life has got in the way lately. I am doing a quick blog today before going to work to acknowledge this - thank you. Maggi xx
